Star Wars Battlefront beta

I was very excited by the opportunity to play the Star Wars Battlefront beta. I am a huge Star Wars fan and the beta has certainly lived up to my expectations. It was pretty good considering the fact that it was an unfinished piece  of software. Hopefully, the final game fixes the problems with the beta. The best part of the game is the fact that even though my internet connection wasn't very fast I was able to play without much lag. Clearly, EA's netcode is pretty good this time around. Probably the best thing about the beta is the ability to play as the iconic characters from Star Wars. I got to play as Luke Skywalker and it was a great experience. It is very easy to get kills when you are one of the "hero" characters as they are incredibly powerful. Luke Skywalker can jump large distances and it is nearly impossible for a minor opponent to outrun him. The vehicles are fun and I got a chance to pilot nearly all of the vehicles. Each vehicle is totally unique the X-Wings and the Tie Fighters are all accurately modelled and the best thing is that like in the movies Tie Fighters are much more agile and manoeuvrable. If you are used to playing online FPS games the gameplay takes a little getting used to. I have played EA's own Battlefield 3 and 4 and the gameplay is markedly different. The beta has garnered mostly positive reviews online and if you have played it it's easy to see why. Hopefully, the full game will be as good as the beta.
