Lucy

The movie Lucy starring scarlett Johansson is irritating because it uses the old tired "we all use 10 percent of our brains myth". Film makers need to let that go..if we used 10 percent only of our brains that's an incredible waste of energy...nature is efficient....the central premise of this movie is that if you take this wonder drug you can use more than 10 percent of your brain. So the protagonist is hired as a drug mule and due to an unfortunate set of circumstances over doses on this miracle drug thereby getting super powers. And if you are wondering that's all the story this movie has.

Thanks to the drug the protagonist can perform feats which normal humans who use only ten percent  of their brains cannot do.

When the protagonist starts using 70 percent of her brainpower she is nearly invincible. Despite the weak central premise Scarlett Johansson manages to give a credible performance in the movie.

Lucy is all right if you want a movie which wont tax your mind too much. And Okay for a one time watch.

The action scenes at the later parts of the movie seem pointless as we know that Lucy is nearly invincible so there is really no tension in the later action scenes in the movie.
