life and chess

life is like a game of chess. as a child or a teenager you are a pawn..you are pushed around ..you have to follow orders..you move only one square at a time ..ofcourse you can take down a major piece like the queen or a rook .. but only if the queen or rook makes a serious mistake or is trapped. when you reach my age you are a knight.. i am a knight right now.. not the most important piece.. but ihave more mobility and striking power.. knights die in the bloodiest of skirmishes and often dont get to see the end game.. important pieces are cautious of me.. a couple of knights and a bishop can even bring down the king. in another decade or so..(if i last that long ) i will become a rook .. finally a piece essential to the end game... rooks are feared by all for their strikes are lethal and lightning fast..having an extra rook makes all the diference between losing and winning..to be contd..
