On Israel and Gaza

Sometime back when Nigerian Islamist group Boko Haram abducted school girls various celebrities like Michelle Obama, and Anthony Kiedis protested on social media by posting photos of themselves holding a placard with the hashtag ‪#‎Bringbackourgirls‬ written on it. It was admirable that they raised public consciousness of this heinous act. Right now in Gaza ..Israel is killing children but strangely I don't see any celebrities posting photos of themselves with the hashtag ‪#‎StopKillingChildren‬. Isn't it strange that the abduction of some children be met with strong protest in social media while the cold blooded killing of other children be considered less protest worthy?
